I am so excited about my purchases at Michael's Art Store. I bought canvases (40% off), Bob Ross brushes, a bucket with a brush rack, and odorless paint thinner. I am ready to paint. It has been hot so I haven't for a while. When I attempted to, I was using acrylic. No offense but I'll stick to oil paints. I love the textures in oil and it doesn't dry up fast. I love to take my time. I feel with oil paints, you are not committed which is nice. You can scratch you mistake off with a knife and paint it how you want it. Ofcourse as Bob Ross would say, "There are no mistakes, this is your world, we don't make mistakes just happy little trees". I need to do some work but hopefully, today I'll have a painting completed.
